the warden

The Warden is a songwriter, collaborator and producer inspired by deep-thinkers & poetic storytellers like Paul Simon, Martha Wainwright, Manic Street Preachers and Daudi Matsiko. His debut album is expected in late 2026.

A fixture on the South Wales music scene for the last decade, The Warden has worked as a solo artist and as lead guitarist in the bands Small Miracles and Altered Myths.

As a session player he has worked with Freyja Elsy, Those Heavy Souls, Mirari and the Forté Project. He has also collaborated with the poets Christina Thatcher, Rachel Helena Walsh and Fra Beecher, exploring the intersection of poetry and song.

His work with Fra also extends to co-hosting workshops that blend life-drawing, creative writing, collaborative poetry and songwriting.

He has remixed tracks for Adam Scott Glasspool, Loyd, Freyja Elsy. Use the contact form to book a remix.

The Warden is completing sessions for his debut album, due for release in early 2027.
